Open your internet browser<\/b> (such as Chrome, Safari or Firefox)<br \/>\n<b>2. After you have your digital account, go to the E-edition. From computer layout of print pages to widespread adoption of email, most new technologies at the outset have seemed silly or clunky at best, and dangerous or corruptive at worst. AI is firmly in that realm. It has tremendous capacity to help journalists better find and tell stories. But in its current form, it\u2019s not ready for widespread, and unchecked, use. We use it now to test its applications, learn its limitations and experiment with useful new features for staff and readers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How we use AI<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The newsroom uses AI largely for administrative and production tasks, such as brainstorming headlines, creating summaries at the top of stories or generating metadata in the backend of articles. Our reporters use AI tools to quickly scan giant documents for newsworthy information that would otherwise take hours or days. We use AI to watch for keywords in videos of public meetings and conduct early research on stories or projects. How do I manage my members?<\/div><\/div><div class=\"accordion__body\" style=\"background:transparent;\"><p>Login on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bangordailynews.com\/\">bangordailynews.com<\/a> using the \u201clogin\u201d link at the top of the page. After the page refreshes, you\u2019ll now see a \u201cMy Account\u201d option. Click that link, or the small bug in the lower right corner of the screen, to access the My Account panel.<\/p>\n<p>Scroll down to Memberships. Here, you can view the activation status of invited individuals, invite new members, and remove existing members. You can invite as many email addresses as you like, but the number of active members is limited by the tier level of your subscription. IE, if you have a 5-user subscription, you will be limited to five active members.<\/p>\n<p>When you invite a user to become a member, they have three days to accept the invitation. Only active members are counted against your membership allotment. If an invited person does not activate their membership within three days, simply delete them from the member list, re-add them, and they will receive a new invitation.<\/p>\n<p>If you are the account administrator, you will not receive a membership invite because you purchased the subscription.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/li><li class=\"accordion__item \"><div class=\"accordion__header \" data-id=\"post-275\" data-item=\"hfaq-post-275\" style=\"background:transparent;\" data-tags=\"\"><div class=\"accordion__title\">How do I accept an invite to join a subscription as a member?<\/div><\/div><div class=\"accordion__body\" style=\"background:transparent;\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You will receive an invitation in your email inbox for the email account that was added to a membership subscription. Your access will not be live until you accept the invitation.
